The first phase of West Oleander Carports are complete! Our team completed the decking and sheeting on June 24th just after our previous posting. Happy residents and patients are coming in early to find a spot in the shade. Anything to beat the heat right? Soon we will apply for a variance with the city of Fort Worth to install another 10 spaces on the East side of the lot.

This morning brother Bobby and crew broke ground on tue first installment of single post flat Carports for a medical center in Fort Worth’s beautiful Southside. Pier inspections set for tomorrow and column set soon after. Project should finish up in about 4 days. The folks are getting excited about having a shady place to park their cars. I know because they jumped out of bed to move them out of the way at about 9:15 this morning! Thanks folks!

Hello folks, hope you’re enjoying the run up to Summer and that you’re not reeling to bad from the Mavs defeat afterward.
Let’s talk about making the key distinction between commercial carport styles: single post flat and four post flat. A single post flat consists of a rectangular tube steel column placed in the center of a standard parking place. This allows the vehicle to park with full clearance for the front door. There is a single column or post spaced every 18′ and a sloped flat deck thus named single post flat.
A four post flat by contrast has 2 square columns or posts, one at the front and one at the rear of the vehicle. Typically spaced about 7-10′ apart. Skip a space and repeat the posts and you have a 4 post placement every 2 vehicles.

Look outside your window, do you see cars and trucks huddle under the few trees in your lot?
